FLOODS, WEATHER RISKS HOW TO REACT?
In recent years, we have all heard of record floods, unprecedented storms, and thunderstorms of unprecedented magnitude. These meteorological phenomena, linked to global warming, surprise us with their suddenness and scale, but also with the damage they cause to people and property. To anticipate these events and respond coherently and appropriately, the municipality is revising its municipal safeguard plan (PCS). A mock exercise conducted in February 2025, with the Lot-et-Garonne Prefecture, the fire department, the national police, and around thirty municipalities in the department, made it possible to correct this document for the prevention of natural or technological disasters. |
