Public meeting to present the "Medical Center" project was created by CONSEILLERNUMERIQUE
For several months, in consultation with the medical and paramedical professions of the municipality, the City of Boé has been working on solutions to improve the health provision in its territory and in particular to attract new general practitioners. There is only one left to date for a population of more than 5,800 inhabitants.
The classification of the municipality, by the Regional Health Agency, as a priority interest zone (ZIP) reinforces our ambition and should encourage the establishment of 2 new doctors in our life-health territory.
It is in this sense that the municipal council of Boé decided, in June 2022, for the creation of a medical center and decided to establish it on a former commercial wasteland in order to be part of a virtuous approach (non-artificialization of the soil) by carrying out a rehabilitation.
This project was the subject of a detailed presentation during the public meeting held on Tuesday, April 3, 2024, at the François Mitterrand cultural center. Nearly 150 people were present. A time for discussion followed with the participants, in the presence of Ms. Karine CARMENTRAN, DPLG architect.
The building permit will be filed in the coming days, and work will begin in October 2024 for an opening in the second half of 2025.
