Public Meeting: Renovation Work on Rue Jean Rostand

On Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m., a public meeting will be held at the Salle des sports de la Couronne. This meeting, intended for local residents, aims to present the Jean Rostand Street renovation project.
 The main points covered will be:
 

• Creation of a greenway dedicated to non-motorized travel (bicycles, pedestrians, etc.)
• Renovation of the sidewalk on the west side of rue Jean Rostand
• Improved parking spaces near the playground
• Development of parking spaces along the road, separated by a border from the future greenway
• Installation of speed moderation devices (platforms, chicanes and speed bumps limited to 30 km/h)
• Securing and redeveloping the edges of the road and the roadway
• Replacement of street furniture and signage, including solar lighting
• Optimization of rainwater management

The objective of this project is to secure and redevelop rue Jean Rostand by improving user mobility and safety, while promoting soft modes of transport.
